Events and Notices

Your Main Street Sites website allows you to display information about coming events on your site's home page. To do this, you need to add some entries to your News Items page.

This is a sample of how news items will appear on your site:

 

To add News Items, click on the "News Items" menu option.

This page displays a list of news items. This sample shows a list with a few news items.

Click on the "Add a News Item" link to add a new news item.

You will be given a form to fill in. Set the date, title and description of your news item and click on "Add" to save it.

The news item will now appear on your home page.

Using the Main Street Sites Calendar

Main Street Sites websites also support a fully featured calendar. Here is an example of a calendar in action:

Our calendar interface allows you to easily post your class schedule to the calendar.


You can also add any calendar entries you like for events, special occasions, holidays, etc.
