Online Registration Manager

Main Street Sites offers a wide array of features for managing class registrations.

Basic registration features

With a Basic site, you can input your class schedule, display it on your classes page, and allow customers to register for classes on your registration page.  An email copy of the registration is then sent to you and to the customer.

Here is how your classes might look on your classes page (depdending on the template you are using). Full descriptions of your classes can be shown on a secondary tab.  Locations can have links to popular map providers and/or to any directions you choose to provide.

And here is how a customer would select a class on your registration page.

You can enter any message you'd like to have included on the registration emails sent to your customers here.

Here is what the class entry form looks like.  You'll pick a class type, a location and a teacher that will have defined previously. Then you'll set a date, time and duration for your class (ongoing classes without a fixed duration are handled elsewhere).

Some of the inputs shown below only apply to the Online Registration page (the total number of seats for example).

You can set a status for each of your classes, like draft, full, preview, etc.  Draft classes are not displayed on your site (so you can finish working on them).  Preview classes appear on your classes page but are not available for registration.

You can also peform a variety of useful maintenance operations on your classes, like sorting, updating statuses and seats, "rolling-forward" - that is, advancing your schedule to a new season or semester.  You can even save a seasonal schedule and restore it later (if for example, you run a lighter schedule in the summer months).

Online Registration package features

Our Online Registration package adds a major boost to the registration feature set. This includes flexible pricing, discounts, coupons, tracking of seats, closing full classes, moving customers between classes, etc.  (This is all in addition to supporting all major credit cards, of course.)

You set your pricing by entering your prices into a list.  You can specify prices by location and class type, or have all prices apply to all classes and locations.

Here is what a complete set of prices might look like. You can add fees that apply automatically to all registrations if you like.

You can also define coupons for your registration page as well.  Coupons are entered with a negative amount and a coupon code for your customer to enter as part of his or her registration.  You can specify a date range for the coupon too if you like.

As your classes fill up, you can track the open seats from the classes page.  Here is a close of up the "Seats" column.

For more detail, the Online Registration Report will show you all of your registrations in an interactive report format.

You can see your registrations for any specified period or status.  You can move a registration to a different class by clicking on the move link.

And you can zoom in on any particular registration that you'd like to see.  You can also export the report to your computer (to import into a spreadsheet or a financial package).
